I have been trying my best to teach organizations in the Middle East the true essence of customer support and unfortunately most of their top executives were not up to the standard (you can not give what you do not have) , companies want to spend more on advertising , branding and marketing and less on "serving" - it's crazy. I like your "rocket science" words because that's what I have always said! I even registered the domain csinrs.com (customer service is not rocket science) :-) but did not have the time to build it , the idea is to discuss and publish stories like yours and mine by as many real customers as possible and take those stories to the service providers asking them to reply.
